| Hi guys got a little problem, yesterday I went out in the bug and almost straight away the passenger side front wheel felt odd? difficult to explain at this point anyway I continued for about 12 miles and it progressively go worse. It only happens if there is a right hand curve in the road or if I turn right and also the breaks feel a little odd to. I have attached some pics so you get an idea of what I am saying. The first pic shows where the Tyre itself has rub marks, the second shows the passenger side wheel arch where it's been rubbing and the third is just a pic of the linkages etc. I have checked the wheel bearing and that's all fine and I can not get any odd movement from the wheel when Jacked up, any help would be gratefully appreciated. |

| Check the suspension ball joints, and the camber adjuster on the top ball joint. Also check the grub screws which locate the trailing arms on the torsion bars. |

| If any suspension component is loose or worn, the garage should refuse to do the tracking, (as it won't cure anything), but they may still charge you something for finding the fault. So, it's worth doing those checks yourself first, (even if you can't fix a worn balljoint yourself), but if it's just something which is loose and can be bolted back into place, you'll kick yourself for paying a garage to do that. |

| Thanks for that Matt. Nothing seems to be loose but checked the wheel with a spirit level and it does seem to be leaning out at the top. Do you know it its possible to convert this to millimeters
Stock settings are Camber 0°30' ± 20', and Track +30' ± 20'. |

| This might help but don't know how accurate it is.
0.3 degree = 5.333 333 333 3 mil
30 degree = 533.333 333 33 mil
1 inch =25.4 millimetres
X (in) camber (degrees) 1/32" 0.07 1/16" 0.14 3/32" 0.21 1/8" 0.29 5/32" 0.36 3/16" 0.43 7/32" 0.50 1/4" 0.57 9/32" 0.64 5/16" 0.72 11/32" 0.79 3/8" 0.86 13/32" 0.93 7/16" 1.00 15/32" 1.07 1/2" 1.15 17/32" 1.22 9/16" 1.29 19/32" 1.36 5/8" 1.43 21/32" 1.50 11/16" 1.58 23/32" 1.65 3/4" 1.72 25/32" 1.79 13/16" 1.86 27/32" 1.93 7/8" 2.01 29/32" 2.08 15/16" 2.15 31/32" 2.22 1" 2.29 |
