Well the shitroen pooped itself Wednesday right before I was going to leave for the meet. The cv boot split, grease everywhere and a problem with suspension.

Well this morning the front suspension decided to kaput, spring snapped, damper burst, other 3 all tired anyway and vacuum pump is on it's way out......so

I do a few bits of bodywork for a car salesman on the same yard as me, he has/had an audi a4 1.9tdi on an r plate. Taxed, moted, few niggles, needs discs and pads, stabiliser link and an oil leak finding and fixing (I think maybe sump or that area). Grand total to me.... A couple of wheel arch repairs. Sorted, happy days. Sorry it's not VW though.
