Well I'm getting the golf recovered from work and gonna drop it in at a garage to have the head done. Has aves any messing and at least the work will be guaranteed.
Hopefully after its done that will be the last of the problems and ill have it on the road..... fingers crossed lol

Just a quick update..... got the golf recovered by the rac (it's now done more miles being towed and recovered lol)
They dropped it off at a garage in drayton so hoping it will be ready by the end of the week

Well hope all goes well and you do know that Golf will be a future classic and much sort after.   

Spoke to the garage today, head is goosed so think I'm going to look for replacement engine

I bought a new engine last week. £130 delivered
if all goes to plan should be in this weekend
